The following is a non-verbatim transcript of the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2001, in the SEMINOLE COUNTY SERVICES BUILDING at SANFORD, FLORIDA, the usual place of meeting of said Board.

Present:

Deputy County Attorney Stephen Lee

Deputy Clerk Carylon Cohen

Absent:

Chairman Dick Van Der Weide (District 3)

Vice Chairman Randy Morris (District 2)

Commissioner Grant Maloy (District 1)

Commissioner Carlton Henley (District 4)

Commissioner Daryl McLain (District 5)

Deputy County Attorney Stephen Lee stated this meeting was scheduled for the Board of County Commissioners to adopt the tentative FY 2001/2002 Seminole County Budget. He noted, as the County Attorney’s designee, the absence of a quorum and advised that the meeting is continued until 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on September 18, 2001, next Tuesday night.

Mr. Lee adjourned the meeting at 7:01 p.m.
